The Message has brought Michael W. Smith to Message listener's homes for the past two years and the new Christmas tradition continues! Michael loves the Christmas time of year and the music that goes along with it so much that over the last two decades he has performed hundreds of Christmas shows and released three Christmas albums.
Who better, then, to share his music, his stories and his family's favorite Christmas music? "Smitty" himself will be your Christmas DJ delivering music and stories, including songs from all of his Christmas albums. Plus, like all Christmas traditions, they're not nearly as meaningful unless they're shared with others. This year, Michael invites his friends from the elite of Contemporary Christian music to each contribute a story and a song to the mix.
Among those joining Michael for 2011 are Brandon Heath, Steven Curtis Chapman, NEEDTOBREATHE, Natalie Grant, Tenth Avenue North and several others.
